Are the bags made in France?
Yes, entirely. Each piece is designed and assembled in our workshop in Mazamet, in the Tarn region.
What leathers do you use?
We exclusively use leathers selected from French tanneries. Full-grain taurillon, nubuck
Are the pieces numbered?
Yes. Each creation bears a unique serial number, affixed upon leaving the workshop.
Manufacturing and delivery times
What is the delivery time?
Allow 2 weeks, a timeframe we specify at the time of purchase.
Do you deliver internationally?
Yes. We deliver within Europe and to several non-EU countries. Fees and times vary by destination; please see our delivery page for details.
How do I track my order?
A confirmation email with a tracking number will be sent to you as soon as your order ships.

We work with tanneries selected for their responsible practices. The durability of our pieces is our main commitment: a bag that lasts twenty years doesn't end up in the trash.
Are you certified?
Yes. Our workshop is certified as an "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (EPV - Living Heritage Company), a distinction awarded by the French State to companies demonstrating artisanal excellence.
Do you offer a repair service?
Yes. A Charles & Charlus piece is made to last. If your bag requires a repair, please contact us — we review every request directly from the workshop.

How do I care for my leather?
Regularly apply a nourishing product suitable for the type of leather (colorless, non-greasy). Avoid prolonged exposure to rain and direct sunlight. In case of a stain, blot without rubbing. Bull calf leather and nubuck each require a specific product, which we can recommend upon request.
Can my bag be waterproofed?
For nubuck and velvety leathers, a suitable waterproofing spray is recommended upon purchase. Contact our customer service for products compatible with your model.
How do I choose the right size?
Each product page indicates the exact dimensions (height, width, depth). If in doubt, our team is available by email or via the contact form.
What is your return policy?
You have 14 days from receipt to return an unused item in its original condition. See the "Make a Return" page for the complete procedure.
